Event Support
Some of you maybe aware that we have deep ties with The Business Exchange Magazine having been involved with the layout of both the Swindon and Wiltshire, and the Bath and Somerset editions since 2012. The Business Exchange not only produces an online platform for businesses to share their stories but also still produced a high quality magazine that gets distributed throughout the South West. TBE gets involved with many campaigns in addition to this, recognising business achievements, stories and positive social support that gives back to local communities.
One particular annual event, that is increasing year on year, that has great impact on all nominees involved, is The Techies Awards – rewarding the creative ideas and achievements of individuals, teams and business in the South West technology sector, who endeavor to make the world a better place for us all.
Visit The Techies website for more information.
The awards event, first held in 2017, was for the first 3 years originally an awards evening, attended by over 120+ people. In recent years this was obviously affected by the pandemic but instead of cancelling the event, The Business Exchange editor Anita Jaynes, moved it online. This posed a number of logistical and technological challenges in order to deliver a seamless presentation, but the tenacity and organisational prowess Anita has, shone through leading to the delivery of an involving and well structured online evening.
As ever, we have sat behind the scenes supporting Anita with these face to face and now online events, creating the bespoke awards, certificates, backdrops, wall stickers and recently the nominee and winner give-away packs for the now temporary on-line event. Year on year we change the format of these elements in order to keep the brand and event fresh.
We would like to thank Anita for her continued support of our business services, engaging us with the creative requirements of the Business Exchange magazines. And to also thank her from all of you, for her dedication and support of the wider business community in Wiltshire and Somerset. Her dedication to the business community in the South West holds no bounds, a rightfully earned award in itself.
